R.J. Grondin & Sons is a prominent construction company that has continually built & grown Maine since 1959. As a family-owned, third-generation earth-moving business, Grondin has become one of the premier construction companies in our state. R.J. Grondin & Sons came to iBec with a goal: build an organic social media presence that could help them attract new team members, showcase company culture, and highlight career opportunities within their growing construction business. Our task was to create content that resonated with younger audiences, especially recent high school grads, and told the story of what itโ€™s really like to build a career at Grondin.

With R.J. Grondinโ€™s goal of reaching the younger workforce in mind, we recognized an opportunity to produce content for various social media platforms, including video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

We built an organic social strategy rooted in authentic, behind-the-scenes storytelling. Through short-form video, we captured team member testimonials, day-in-the-life clips, and project spotlights that gave followers a real sense of what itโ€™s like to work at R.J. Grondin & Sons. By focusing on content that their target audience could connect with, like the satisfaction of operating big equipment, the pride in a job well done, and the camaraderie of the crew, we created a presence that feels both aspirational and relatable.

Hiring has been a significant challenge for R.J. Grondin, particularly in finding dedicated, hardworking individuals to join their growing team. We adapted our social video content and imagery to fuel a powerful hiring campaign that drives consistent form submissions every month, ensuring a constant flow of qualified candidates. We consistently receive positive feedback from new applicants, who share that seeing the Grondin team videos on Google and social media encouraged them to apply for a job at the company. Unifying creative across channels has been a major success driver for R.J. Grondin!
