In 2018-2019, we partnered with Maine Community Bank to merge Mechanics Savings and Biddeford Savings into a unified, multi-site experience under the MCB brand. This allowed customers to navigate seamlessly between the three brands on a single platform.
By 2022, Mechanics and Biddeford Savings were fully rebranded as Maine Community Bank. As part of this transition, we streamlined the website by removing the multi-site functionality, creating a single, secure online banking experience for all customers.
Fast forward to 2024, when Maine Community Bank and Gorham Savings Bank announced their merger. Thanks to the flexible website framework we built, integrating GSB’s content and banking functionality into the MCB site was a smooth and efficient process.

While iBec has been a part of the many iterations of the Maine Community Bank website over the years, most recently, Maine Community Bank was preparing to consolidate its Maine Community Bank locations and Gorham Savings Bank locations into one unified entity. This merger of equals required a thoughtfully executed website restructuring that would maintain the strengths of each bank, as well as reassure long-standing customers amid big changes. All while enforcing Maine Community Bank as the modern, secure, and community-driven institution that they are.
